Stephen R. Huff

Stephen R. Huff, 79, of Harbor Hills, formerly of Columbus, passed away Monday, December 9, 2024, in Newark following a lengthy illness. He was born April 26, 1945, in Columbus ,the son of the late Jack Denman and Carol Leona (Russell) Huff;  attended Columbus South High School before being drafted in the US Army during the Vietnam Era. Retired from Ross Labs in the manufacturing and shipping departments. He enjoyed boating on Buckeye Lake and was a motorcycle enthusiast. He belonged to the Thornport AMVETS post. Survived by his loving wife of 47 years Jerri (Akers) Huff whom he married on December 17, 1977; his son Jarrett (Andrea) Huff; his stepdaughter Jennifer (John) West;  his sister Sharon (Jerry, deceased) Hart and brother David (Crystal) Huff; along with several nieces and nephews and good friends Danny Weis , Robert Hriviak, and Rick Ward.

Honoring Stephen’s wishes, he was cremated, and there will be no memorial services. The family prefers that anyone wishing to make memorial contributions in his memory may direct them to the Parkinson’s foundation.
