Susan Rae Ambrose

Susan Rae Ambrose, age 79, of Newark, passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Middleton Senior Living in Granville.

Susan was born October 18, 1941 in Newark, Ohio to the late William and Una (Billingsley) Korns. She was a secretary at the Newark Air Force Base for a number of years. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.

She is survived by six children, Kim Dutiel of Newark, Robert (Misty) Dutiel of Pataskala, Teri (Scott) Allmon of Blacklick, Vince (Gina) Ambrose, Mark (Charlene) Ambrose, and Richie (Rebecca) Ambrose, all of California; many grandchildren and a great-grandson; brother, Gary (Gloria) Korns of Newark; a sister, Linda Henry of Murrels Inlet, South Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Angelo Vincent Ambrose; and a sister, Lori Korns.

At her request, there will be no service observed.
