Susan Jeanette Humphrey

Susan Jeanette Humphrey, 73, of Buckeye Lake, passed away on Sunday July 21, 2024, following an extended illness. She was born August 1, 1950, in Columbus, the daughter of the late Otto and Elizabeth (Fowler) Wooten. A lifelong homemaker, she was a talented artist who enjoyed painting and poetry. She is survived by her loving family: her children Joseph Wooten, Cheryl (William) Wetmore, and Jeanne Humphrey; her nine grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Kim Humphrey in 2017, and her siblings Lyndal Cole, Don, Rick, and Dan Wooten. Honoring Susan’s wishes, she will be cremated and her remains inurned near her husband, Kim in the Cedar Hill Columbarium, Newark, Ohio.
