Tammy Diane Crumrine

A memorial service for Tammy Diane Crumrine, age 60, of Newark, will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, January 24, at the Salvation Army, 250 East Main Street in Newark with Lt. Kaitlyn Haddix officiating. Inurnment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Tammy was born July 30, 1959 in Newark, Ohio and passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, following a brief illness.

Tammy was a waitress at the Natoma for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, fishing, and being outdoors. Her heart was in serving people and she was a great help assisting at the Salvation Army.

She is survived by her soulmate, Michael E. Yantis of Newark; daughter Michelle M. Yantis (Geoff Retherford) of Newark; grandchildren, Brooklynn, Carly and Arianna; sister, Pam (Phil) Helms of Newark; brother, Chuck (Reva) Rine of Newark; nieces, Ashley Moore, Christy Rine and Misty Rine.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donald F. Rine; and her mother and step-father, Connie M. (McClain) and Richard Hanley.
