Tanya Laine Xanders

Tanya Laine Xanders, age 44, of Old Washington, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

Tanya was born September 13, 1974 in Cambridge, Ohio. Tanya was a 1992 graduate of Buckeye Trail High School. She was a homemaker and her great joy in life was caring for her family. She was a wonderful wife and mother and was all about her kids. Tanya enjoyed gardening, being outside and cooking. She will be lovingly remembered for the delicious pies she made for Thanksgiving celebrations.

Tanya is survived by her beloved husband, Chad Thomas Bartlett, whom she married March 12, 2010; four children, Alexis Reed Xanders (Kory Rion Worth) of Newark, Ian Matthew Bartlett, Curt Adler Bartlett and Audrey Pear Bartlett, all of Old Washington; grandson, Jasper Tiberius Xanders-Worth; mother, Cheryl Lynn (Householder) Xanders of Lore City; two sisters, Lisa Elaine (Darin) Dodd and Leslie Ellen Xanders, both of Newark; and brother, Jason Eugene Xanders of Alabama; niece, McKenzie Dodd; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Eugene Xanders.

The family will observe a private family gathering.
