Teresa M. Elliott

A funeral service, to celebrate the life of Teresa M. Elliott, age 54 of Newark, will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 10:30 AM at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home, with Anthony Hottinger officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Utica, Ohio.Teresa was born in Huntington, WV on April 19, 1960 to the late Willie E. Sr. and Reba M. (Gillispie) Holley. She passed away at her sisters residence on July 25, 2014 while surrounded by her loving family.Teresa graduated from Newark High School, Class of 1978. Prior to retirement, she worked for over 15 years as a computer operation manager with the Licking County Aging Program. She was a member of the Newark Freewill Baptist Church. She enjoyed camping, collecting unique pens and she always had to be in control. Most important in her life was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved everyone she met and will be missed greatly by all that knew her.Surviving are her children, Arnetha, Anthony and Jamie, all of Newark and Paula, Lisa and Galela, all of Texas; 18 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; siblings, Dreama, Joyce, Hank and Willie Jr.; special friend, Kim; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John Elliott in 2013, whom she married July 31, 1988; and daughter, Roseanna in 1986.Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Teresa to the Licking County Aging Program.
