Teresa R. "Rocki" Weese

A funeral service celebrating the life of Teresa Roxanne Rocki Weese, age 53, of Newark, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 29, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Oak Hill Cemetery. Rocki was born March 13, 1961 in Newark, Ohio. She passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at the home of her mother in Newark. Rocki was employed as an office manager at Sav-A-Lot on East Main Street in Newark since 1978. She enjoyed playing Bingo and singing Karaoke and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Rocki is survived by her husband of 29 years, Ronald D. Weese, whom she married February 18, 1985; mother, Carolyn S. (Kinney) Mitchell of Newark; father, Clyde R. (Gloria) Winegardner of Newark; four children, Dustin W. Weese (Kayla N. Black), Sutannah Tani (Frank) Offenburger, Dillon R. Weese and Jacob J. Weese, all of Newark; grandchildren, Aidan, Zariah, Jayden, Sophia and Ryder Weese; four brothers, Terry R. (Judy) Winegardner of Newark, Thomas R. Winegardner of Hebron, Tobey R. (Debbie) Winegardner and James W. Mitchell, Jr. (Regina Akers), all of Newark; special cousin, Cassie Turner of Newark; many nieces and nephews and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her step-father, James W. Mitchell, Sr., and by an infant brother, Timothy R. Winegardner. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, April 28, at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark.
