Teresita Antonieta Fallas

Teresita Antonieta Fallas, age 74, of Newark, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2017 at Arlington Care Center. Teresita was born October 21, 1942 in Puriscal, Costa Rica to the late Primo Picado Fallas and Otilia Hidalgo Picado. Teresita had been employed with GE in Indiana and Hughes Aircraft in California. She enjoyed gardening, especially roses and peonies, sewing and watching birds at her feeder. She is survived by two daughters, Judy C. (Paul) Moore and Teresita A. Leon, all of Newark; son, Michael A. (Andrea) Leon of Sacramento, California; five grandchildren, Vanessa M. (Chad) Rupert, Zion T. Leon, James D. Moore, Daniel M. Moore and Jadyn E. Moore; and great-grandson, Corbin A. Rupert. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Miguel Fallas and Rafa Fallas.Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
