A memorial service celebrating the life of Terri Roxanne Runkle, age 64, of Millersport, will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 13, at the Thornville home of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service with Pastor Mark Thogmartin officiating. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home, 56 South Main Street in Thornville. Terri was born May 3, 1953 in Columbus, Ohio. She passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. A 1971 graduate of South High School in Columbus, Terri was also a graduate of the Columbus College of Art and Design and received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Ohio University. She was an artist and teacher at Lancaster, Millersport, Liberty Union and Amanda-Clearcreek schools. Terri was a member of the Millersport United Methodist Church. She was known to always be doing things for others and brought cookies every Saturday night to the guys at the firehouse on pizza night. She enjoyed arts and crafts, the family farm, making jewelry, buying and refurbishing antiques, sewing, entertaining and cooking, and was especially known for her delicious angel food cakes and cookies. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Victor W. Vic Runkle, whom she married August 11, 1973; son and daughter-in-law, Donovan and Judy Runkle of Monroe, MI; father, Richard Donovan of Groveport; brother, Timothy (Elaine) Donovan of Scottsdale, AZ; and nieces and nephews, Jack, Maggie, Kara, Luke and Annie Donovan. She was preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis (Burton) Donovan. Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service in Thornville is honored to care for Terri and her family.
