Terry L. Morgan

A funeral service celebrating the life of Terry L. Morgan, age 66, of Newark, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 2, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Barnes Cemetery where military honors will be observed by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.Terry was born July 8, 1949 in Bremen, Ohio to the late Carl and Jean Morgan. He passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2015 at Mount Carmel East Hospital.Terry was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and had served three tours of duty in Vietnam. He retired from Owens Corning Fiberglas after 34 years of service where he had been a machine rollup operator. He enjoyed mechanics and loved to work on motors of any sort. He also enjoyed coin collecting.He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Sheila A. (LeMay) Morgan, whom he married November 6, 1993; step-children, Jay Hottinger, Terry Dale Hottinger and Victoria Lynn Hottinger, all of Newark; step-grandchildren, Sultana Biehl, Levi Felumlee, Joey Northrup, Brock Lewis and McKenzie Lewis; five step-great-grandchildren; a brother, Larry T. Morgan of Zanesville; numerous cousins; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Barb (Butch) Wilcox of Newark, Rick (Jenny) LeMay of Buckeye Lake, Gary LeMay of Columbus and Debbie Walker of Newark; and friends, Allen Minnich of Zanesville and Steve Nethers of Newark.Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 1, at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home is honored to care for Terry and his family.
