Thelma Faye Nelson

Thelma F. Nelson, 86, formerly of Millersport, passed away early Friday, August 18, 2023 following an extended illness. She was born June 28, 1937 in Galloway, the daughter of the late Richard and Zelma (Roberts) Smith.

She worked both for Schottenstein Corporation and Ziegler Tire.

Thelma enjoyed gardening, reading, playing cards and socializing with family and friends. She also like to square dance and belonged to a squared dancing club.

She is survived by her loving family: her daughter Debra (Duke) Collins, her sons Robert “Bruce” and (Mary) Nelson and Daniel Nelson; her grandchildren Hilary and Charles; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Frank and James Smith and her sister Helen Miller.

Honoring Thelmas wishes, she was cremated and private services were held for her family.
