Theresa K. Ours

Funeral services, celebrating the life of Theresa K. Ours, 62, of Hebron, will be held at 11:00 am. On Saturday, July 1, 2017, in the Hebron Christian Church, followed by a light lunch. There will also be Life Celebration services at T.K.s home in Hebron on Saturday evening, including sharing memories, story-telling, a barbeque and bonfire. Private family inurnment services will follow at a later date in the Kirkersville Cemetery, where T.K. will be laid to rest with her family. T.K. died Saturday, June 24, 2017, following a 9 month illness. She was diagnosed with a brain tumor in September, 2016. She was born in Newark, on January 15, 1955, the only daughter of Art and Becky (Smedley) Ours. She was a 1973 graduate of Lakewood H.S. She owned and operated TKO express for many years. T.K. possessed a delightful sense of humor, and enjoyed meeting people and making enduring friendships with others. T.K. was an active member of the Hebron community, participating in Hebron Lions club where she was currently president, Eagon Chapter #123, O.E.S., a life-long member of Hebron Christian Church and founding member of the Licking Ladies. Her lifelong passion was horses, training both horses and riders of all ages. She is survived by her brothers Rex and his wife Lisa, Steve and his wife Debbie, step-mother Patsy, along with three step-sisters, two nephews, a niece and ten great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Art and Becky Ours The family will receive friends on Friday evening, June 30, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, 285 East Main St. in Kirkersville and again on Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at 11:00 a.m. at the Hebron Christian Church. Hebron Lions club will have memorial services at 7:45 p.m. on Friday evening at the funeral home. The family prefers that memorials be directed to the Hebron Lions Club Scholarship fund c/o LuAnn Gulick, secretary. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
