Thomas E. Adell

A funeral service celebrating the life of Thomas E. Adell, 76, of Blacklick, will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Falls officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark, two hours prior to the funeral service on Wednesday, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Thomas was a member of the Newark Baptist Temple and the Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Union. Prior to retirement, he worked as a carpenter and mason for Franklin County for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, cooking, baking, woodworking, watching NASCAR and spending time in the great outdoors. Most importantly, was the time he spent with his loving wife, family and friends. Survivors include his loving wife of 14 years, Teresa A. (Stafford) Adell, whom he married September 9, 2010; children, Brenda Adell, David (Abigail Scott) Adell, Tina Cosner, Raymond (Laurie) Cosner and Joseph (Katherine) Amburgey; siblings, Don (Nancy) Clary, Cathy (Bob) Bowles, Joe “Brother Joe” Adell, Pam (Terry) Minnear and June Dale; grandchildren, Matthew (Megan), Michael, Chris (Dulce) Brittany; great grandchildren, Kylie, Maddox, Karah, Brooklyn, Haedyn, Kinsley, Zaden, Christopher and Jayden; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Beth Hartman; and brother, Roy Adell.
