Thomas R. Coventry

Thomas R. Coventry, age 69, of West Lafayette, formerly of Newark, passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at the Bellevue Care Center in Bellevue, Ohio.

Tom was born June 3, 1952 in Newark, Ohio to the late John D. and Donna B. (Bradley) Coventry. Tom was employed at Stacey’s Buffet in Heath for many years. He loved all sports but was especially a fan of the Cleveland Guardians, OSU Buckeyes and the Cleveland Cavaliers. He enjoyed participating in the activities at Gentlebrook, where he resided in West Lafayette.

He is survived by a sister, Linda Coventry, of Bellevue.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 32 years, Ruth Ann Coventry, on February 25, 2019.

Private interment will take place in Newark Memorial Gardens.
