Thomas Edward Meckling, Jr.

Thomas Edward Meckling, Jr., age 59, of Newark, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at his home. Tommy was born May 3, 1957 in Newark, Ohio to the late Thomas Edward Meckling, Sr. and Norma Jean (Fadley) Meckling.Tommy enjoyed working on small engines, riding his bike and scooter and helping his family and friends.He is survived by three siblings, Jerry Meckling of Newark, Deana (Todd) Keeran and Norman Meckling, all of Newark; daughters, Annie and Lorena; son, James Wires; several grandchildren; step-brother, Russell Jewell of Newark; step-daughters, Roxanne and Monica; nieces and nephews; aunts, Donna (Butch) Arnott, Betty Barnett and Nellie; and several cousins.In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his wife, Joyce Meckling.A graveside service will be held at a later date in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
