Funeral services, celebrating the life of Thomas J. Miller, 53, formerly of Millersport, will be held at 7:00 p.m., on Thursday, December 7, 2017, in the chapel of The Thornville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service. Inurnment will follow at a later date in the Millersport Cemetery. Thomas died suddenly Friday, December 1, 2017, at his home in Batavia. He was born in Canton, on December 31, 1963, the son of the late Robert Nelson and Rheba Jean (Daniels) Miller. He was a graduate of Millersport H.S., and was employed at the Home Depot as a construction lot attendant. He enjoyed shooting pool, grilling out and family get-togethers. He was very protective of his sisters and their children. He is survived by his sisters Tina Miller and Betty Phillips, several nieces and nephews, along with his fiance Tammy Tellier, and her family. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Cindy Miller, brothers Gene and Bobby Miller and two nephews Tommy and Randy Miller. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home, 56 S. Main Street in Thornville.
