A funeral service for Thomas Edward Kirk, 59, of Newark, will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2015, in the chapel of the Hebron home of HOSKINSON Funeral & Cremation Service.Thomas died early Thursday, June 11, 2015, in Newark. He was born in Newark on January14, 1956, the son of the late John and Mary (McMillen) Kirk. He was a graduate of Lakewood and Licking Co JVS, class of 1975, had worked for Bayer in Hebron, and was a farmer and machinist. He enjoyed trapping, hunting, fishing, playing jokes on people and loved living life.He is survived by his daughter Kim (Brian) Ballmann of Hebron, son T.J. Kirk (Shirley Flowers) of Newark, companion Carrie Fadley of Newark, sister Wilma Keller, niece Karen Perryand great-nephew Chris Workman.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Rose Perry.The family will receive friends on Saturday, from 3-5 p.m. at the funeral home, 108 N. 7th Street in Hebron.Memorials may be directed to the American Heart association in his memory.
