A graveside funeral service, celebrating the life of Thomas E. Moomaw, 86, of Frazeysburg, will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Spring Grove Cemetery, with Pastor Nick Shaw officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 6th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, 179 Granville Street, Newark. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, masks must be worn inside the funeral home and for your protection, a maximum of 35 guests will be allowed inside at one time. Please practice social distancing. Thomas was born in Brownsville, Ohio on November 20, 1934 to the late Thomas E. and Ethel (Warman) Moomaw. He passed away on December 31, 2020 at Licking Memorial Hospital. Thomas was a life-long dedicated farmer, and had previously worked at Roper Manufacturing and Larson Manufacturing. Survivors include his children, Donna Jean (Charles) Roberts, Mike (Sally) Moomaw, Sr., Cheryl (Ron) Latham, Eric Moomaw, Karla Moomaw, Marsha (Dana) Tyhurst and Mark Moomaw; sister, Kate (Kenny) Adams; grandchildren, Damon, Kara (Chris), Mike Jr. (Jessica), Joe (Bethany), Brian (Iesha), Alisha, Kiana, Megan, Christopher, Sebastian and Alex; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Moomaw in 2001; and nine brothers and sisters.
