Thomas Joseph Smyers

Thomas Joseph Smyers of Pataskala, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at the age of 70. He was born in Lancaster, Ohio, on September 3, 1954.

Thomas was a certified small motor mechanic by trade. He was employed by Ask Motorcycles and Lancaster Electroplating. He was a proud Army veteran, having served 5 years, with 1 year in Korea (Camp Casey) in 1974. He was also a member of the BOAR Motorcycle Club.

He is survived by his longtime partner of 38 years, Florence Ashby; brother, Raymond Smyers Jr. and sisters, Linda Bigham and Cathy Smyers.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Smyers Sr. and Marcella (Spires) Smyers.

Family and Friends will be received for memorial visitation at the Kirkersville Chapel of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service, 285 E. Main Street, Kirkersville, on Monday, March 17, 2025 from 4:00pm until the time of the memorial service at 6:00pm. Inurnment will be at the convenience of the family.

In his memory, donations can be made to the Wounded Warriors Project and the ASPCA. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
