Timothy J. Laughery

A memorial service celebrating the life of Timothy J. “Tim” Laughery, 66, of Johnstown, will be held on Monday, June 6, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, with Pastor Jeff Smith officiating. Friends may visit at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark, one hour prior to the memorial service on Monday, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tim was born in Newark, Ohio on March 5, 1956 to the late Delbert H. and Mildred (Kenna) Laughery. He passed away at his residence on May 31, 2022. Prior to retirement, he was a forklift operator with Owens-Corning Fiberglas for 35 years. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and woodworking, but most important was the time he spent with family and friends. Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Dianne M. (Wolford) Laughery, whom he married May 24, 1974; sons, Joe Laughery and Jeremy Laughery; sister, Sharon (Tom) McCray; brothers, Charles (Donna) Laughery and Delbert L. Laughery; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Lisa, Sandy and Pat; and brother, Robert “Bobbie”. Those who wish may make memorial contributions in memory of Tim to Mt. Carmel Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
