Timothy "Tim" W. Crawmer

Timothy (Tim) W. Crawmer, 70, of Newark, formerly of Ft Collins, CO passed away December 5, 2024. He was born at the AFB in Rantoul, IL on June 21, 1954, to Marion (Buck) and Mary Jane Crawmer. Survived by sister, Dianne McPherson of Columbus; brother, Ty (Kathi) Crawmer of Reform; son, Travis Crawmer of Denver CO; Nephews, Zachary McPherson, Jason, Justin, Jared and Jake Crawmer; Niece, Jessica Swartz; and many great nieces and nephews. Also survived by dear friends, Dan and Jan Crego, Frank and Debbie Brevard, Greg and Debbie Morgan, and Robin Barr. He was preceded in death by his parents. Tim moved to Denver, Colorado in 1977 where is spent most of his life. He eventually moved to northern Colorado to Loveland then settled in Ft Collins. He was employed by Rocky Mountain Bearing, Moore Bearings and ALSCO as a field sales agent. Tim enjoyed the mountains and the adventures they offered with many weekends camping around a warm campfire, firing up the chainsaw to gather firewood for his fireplace, ATVing, snow skiing, elk hunting and elk hunting camp with a couple of high school friends. He enjoyed college football and was a big fan of the Colorado State University Rams in Ft Collins but remained an avid Buckeye fan. Tim’s ornery ability to make people laugh with his witty comments and expressions was one of his many qualities, but the people close to him will tell you his best quality was his genuine loyalty who you could always count on if needed. Funeral service will be January 10, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Old Stone Church, 16490 Brushy Fork Road SE, Newark with Pastor Chuck Horsley presiding. Friends and family may call 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial in the Hanover Cemetery immediately following the service. Light lunch will be provided at the church following the burial. In lieu of flowers, donations in Tim’s name may be made to the Licking Valley scholarship fund.
