Tisha Lorraine Nida

Tisha Lorraine Nida, 42, of Heath, died Saturday, January 28, 2023, as a result of a vehicle accident. She was born June 21, 1980, in Newark, to Mark and Lorrie (Reber) Laymon. Tisha’s number one priority was her children. She enjoyed attending their sports and always supported them. She enjoyed beach vacations especially to Siesta Key and spending time with her four-legged companion Yorkie, Zoie. Tisha worked in dentistry as a Restoration Specialist. She is survived by her children, Kayla Huffman, Colbie Nida, and Colton Nida; her father, Mark Laymon; sister, Dawnell Laymon; brother, Will Laymon; paternal grandfather, Richard Laymon; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lorrie Laymon; paternal grandmother, Shirley Laymon; maternal grandparents, Jack and Peggy Reber; and cousins, Jonathan Laymon, Austin Laymon and Emma Cunningham. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gallipolis Elks Lodge, Attn: football and cheerleading, P.O. Box 303, Gallipolis, OH 45631. Visitation will be held Saturday, February 11, 2023, from 2-4pm at the Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home, Newark, where a memorial service will follow at 4:00pm with Pastor Chris Nida officiating.
