Todd Boring

A funeral service celebrating the life of David Todd Boring, 47, of Lancaster, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 11, 2018, in the chapel of the Thornville Home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, with burial to follow in the Lutheran Reformed Cemetery.Todd died unexpectedly Sunday, May 6, 2018, at his home in Lancaster. He was born December 16, 1970, in Zanesville, the son of Donna (Hines) and David Boring of Thornville. Todd was a 1989 graduate of Sheridan H.S., OSU Graduate in Civil Engineering and Surveying, and was employed by Central Surveying of Reynoldsburg. He also operated Boring Land Surveying.Todd was a devoted fan of Drag Racing and spent many days at the National Trails Raceway in Hebron. He also enjoyed walking and spending time with his Spanky Gang a group of H.S. buddies and cousins.He is survived by his loving family: which in addition to his parents, includes both of the grandmothers: Arlene Hines and Jean Boring; his sister Tami (Don) Loughman, and their children Ashley and Gunner, special daughter Megan Keller, several aunts and uncles, many cousins; along with his favorite canine companion Eli.He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Bill Hines and Charles Boring.Friends may call at the Funeral Home, 56 South Main Street in Thornville, on Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.The family is planning on purchasing a memorial bench to be placed at the National Trails Raceway in memory of Todd.
