Tonnya Lynn Kendall

Tonnya Lynn Kendall, age 53, of Newark, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2023 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center (operated by Hospice of Central Ohio) following a brief illness. Tonnya was born February 6, 1969 in Newark, Ohio to the late Harold “Jack” Busch and the late Rebecca Irene “Becky” (Sprague) Busch.

Tonnya was a 1987 graduate of Newark High School and received an Associate’s degree from Central Ohio Technical College. She was employed as a medical lab technician with Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Tonnya enjoyed reading, painting and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jeriel Kendall, whom she married May 23, 1992; sons, Cory James Kendall of Newark, Matthew Jeriel (Cheyenne) Kendall of Newark, and Jacob Daniel (Charity) Kendall of Hamilton, Alabama; grandchildren, Riley Alexis Smith, Jackson Daniel Kendall, Paislee Jude Kendall, and Logyn Jayde Kendall; sister, Tina Busch; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, January 26, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home, 179 Granville Street, Newark.
