Trenda Marie Cooper

Memorial Visitation for Trenda M. Cooper, 67, of Thornville will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2023, in the chapel of the Thornville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, 56 South Main St., Thornville from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Trenda passed away early Monday morning in Lancaster, following a long hard-fought battle with Cancer, since 2007. She was born March 22, 1955 the daughter of the late Michael and Charlotte (McCafferty) Rooney.

Trenda worked around Perry Co. for many years, and was employed at Fat Cat’s Pizza in Lancaster at the time of her death. She also had worked at the Island House, Frank’s and Russ’s. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, adored her grandchildren and especially loved Christmastime.

She is survived by her daughter Jenya (Shawn) Reid Whitesel of Logan, her step son Logan (Laurinda) Cooper and step-daughter Karissa (Jared) Carpenter; her grandchildren Hunter Maher, Haylei Whitesel, Nova Carpenter, Case Cooper, Gunnar Carpenter and Cali Cooper; and her two great-grandchildren Camden Maher and Ansley Clutter; her brothers Michael Rooney and Russell “Jeff” Myers.
