Velma "Micki" Mason

Velma M. Micki Mason, 80, of Avondale, died peacefully on Friday, March 7, 2014 at Selma Markowitz Care Center.Velma was born January 23, 1934 in Millersport, the daughter of the late Stanley Dale and Mary Elizabeth (Fountain) Miller.She was a retired supervisor with Glasfloss Industries.Velma is survived by her husband, Robert E. Mason; daughter, Linda (Jon) Hiles; grandchildren, Michelle (Skeet) Hiles-Albin and Mysti (Josh) Wilson; great grandchildren, Paige, Payton and Ashton; step-children, Brenda (Don) Lambert, Candy (Dave) Pinkstock, Joy (Tom) Luttrell and Kenneth (Candy) Mason; several step- grandchildren and great grandchildren; special brother and sister-in-law, James Butch (Linda) Miller; sister, Millie Faulk; brother-in-laws, Earl Mason, Orville(Shirley) Mason, Mick Mason and Chester Reid; sister-in-law, Gladys McCoy.A funeral service, celebrating the life of Velma, will be held Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of The Hoskinson Funeral Home, Kirkersville. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. at the Funeral Home, 285 E. Main St in Kirkersville.
