Vera Copeland

A graveside funeral service, celebrating the life of Vera V Copeland, 91, formerly of Cadiz, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 7, 2014, in the Union Cemetery, Cadiz, with her Pastor, Rev. Richard Hasley as celebrant. Vera died peacefully on Friday morning, April 4, 2014, with her family at her side. She was born in Cadiz on June 15, 1922, the daughter of the late Lattimer and Mabel (Mallernee) Davis. She worked for the Scio Pottery for 39 years. She was a member of the Scott United Methodist Church of Cadiz, and enjoyed her garden and flowers. She is survived by her loving family: son Allen (Connie) Copeland of Hebron, granddaughter Joy (Eric) Endrulas, grandson Mark (Lisa) Copeland, sister Evelyn Davis, brother Bob Davis, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Martha, Kathleen and her brothers Donnie and Ernie. The family prefers that memorials be directed to the Scott United Methodist Church or the foundation for Hospice of Central Ohio, PO Box 430, Newark, Ohio 43058.
