Vera R. Norman

A Graveside funeral service forVera R. Norman, age 101, of Newark, will be held on Friday, January 8, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Newark Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, with Pastor Tom Hughes officiating.Vera was born in Bucyrus, Ohio on May 21, 1914 to the late Joseph and Maude (Campbell) Daiber. She passed away at Licking Memorial Hospital on January 4, 2016.Vera was a devout member of the Newark Seventh Day Adventist Church for over 65 years. Prior to retirement, she was a ceramist for many years. She was a volunteer for the Seventh Day Adventist Community Services; she was past president of the Newark Garden Club; Central Ohio Cactus and Succulent Society, and Villa Park, IL Garden Club. Vera had an uplifting personality and loved everyone she met.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Howard E.
