Vickie A. Culver

Vickie A. Culver, 70, of Newark, passed away on January 15, 2018 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. She was born in Newark, Ohio on July 11, 1947 to the late Sewell and Tollie (Pettibone) Humphrey. Vickie was a devoted homemaker to her family. She enjoyed gardening, caring for her bluebirds and hummingbirds, baking cakes and brownies. Vickie had an uplifting personality and never met a stranger, but most important was the time she spent with her loving family and friends. Survivors include her loving husband of 54 years, Robert E. Culver, Sr., whom she married August 7, 1964; children, John R. Culver, Robert E. Culver, Jr. and Tollie (Michael) Williams; grandchildren, Joshua Berry, Victoria Berry, Toshia (Matt) Fuller, Jessica (Matt) Barr Roback, Bobbi Jo (Cesar) Vasquez, Skylar Culver and Dillon Culver; siblings, Samuel (Pat) Humphrey, Paul (Paula) Humphrey, Mark (Denise) Humphrey, Larry Embrey, Carol (Kenneth) Kieber, Kathy (Joe) Brooks and Rosemary (Don) Uffner; seven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Sewell Humphrey, Jr., David Humphrey, Janet Sargent and Mary Jane Maharg.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for Vickie and her family.
