Vickie Lewis

A funeral service, celebrating the life of Vickie Lynn Lewis, 58, of Newark, will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, January 16, 2015 in the chapel of The Thornville home of HOSKINSON Funeral & Cremation Service, with Randy Small as celebrant. Vickie died Sunday, January 11, 2015 in Newark, following an extended illness. She was born in Columbus, on August 2, 1956, the daughter of the late Don and Viola (Byers) Huckabaa. Vickie shared the gift of life through organ and tissue donation. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother who was always looking out for others needs. She is survived by her loving family: daughter Sheri Young (Harry Small), son Max Lewis III, grandchildren Brent and Derrick Thompson, Alissa Young, Felicia Small (David Schriner) great-grandchildren DeAnthony Young and Keira Schriner, brother Jim Colebridge and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Bob Huckabaa and Sister Debbie Church. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home, 56 S Main Street in Thornville.
