A funeral service celebrating the life of Vicky Lynn Kieber, 60, of St. Louisville, will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service with Pastor Troy Kahler officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark, on Tuesday, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Vicky was born in Newark, Ohio on October 9, 1961 to the late Richard and Nellie Ella Jean (Everspaugh) Myers. She passed away peacefully, while surrounded by loved ones, at her residence on November 16, 2021. Vicky was devoted homemaker to her family. She was a member of the Newark Eagles Lodge, where she was active with the React Program. She enjoyed playing Euchre, cooking, journaling and watching the Hallmark Channel, but most important was the time she spent with her loving family, especially with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include her children, Jeff (Jamie) Kieber, Dustin (April) Kieber and Genesis (Travis Bare) Shearn; brother, Richard Myers; grandchildren, Raymond, Joseph, Jordan, Paul, Noah, Taytiana, Takoda, Annabella, Beau and Isabella; five great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marion “Bud” Shearn, Jr. in 2011; granddaughter, Elizabeth; and sister, Carol Norberg. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Vicky to St. Vincent De Paul Thrift Store. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for Vicky and the Kieber family.
