Victor L. Moreland

A memorial visitation for Victor L. Moreland, age 75, of Pataskala, will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Kirkersville home of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, 285 E. Main Street, Kirkersville. Victor was born in Pataskala on August 29, 1942 to the late Vernon Clyde and Stella Ted (Boaz) Moreland. He passed away at his residence on October 27, 2017 while surrounded by his family. Victor was a carpenter with Cardinal Industries for many years. He enjoyed farming, gardening and was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. Survivors include his wife of nearly 47 years, Judy (Combs) Moreland, whom he married November 21, 1970; daughter, Lisa Marie (Carl) Kunzi; son, Tim Moreland; sister, Bonnie Schmidt; brother Paul (Brenda) Moreland; grandchildren, Jacob Moore, Nate Kunzi and Jay Kunzi; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Jerry Schmidt; and one niece.
