Victoria C. "Vickie" Hawthorn

A memorial service, celebrating the life of Victoria C. Vickie Hawthorn, 61, of Thornville, will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Thornville chapel of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, with Pastor Jeremy Shank officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home, 56 S. Main Street, Thornville on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Vickie was born in Pikeville, KY on February 29, 1956. She passed away on January 20, 2018 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster. Vickie was an accountant for over 25 years with Defense Finance and Accounting Service. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, cooking and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include her parents, Larry Joe and Ruby (Charles) Leffler; her loving husband of nearly 30 years, Michael B. Hawthorn, whom she married June 4, 1988; sisters, Charlene (Dick) Krumlauf, Del (Buddy) Dameron, Shelia (Larry) Gallagher and Billie (Steve) Dearlove; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for Vickie and her family.
