Victoria Diane "Vicki" Greider

Victoria Diane Vicki Greider, age 59, of Newark, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Vicki was born January 30, 1957 in Newark, Ohio to the late William W. and Gladys (Wigal) Comston.Vicki was formerly employed with the Newark Eagles, the Heath Eagles, Jims Homestead and Jims Home Style Restaurant. She loved to cook and care for her family and was known for making many, many delicious dishes.She is survived by her husband of 33 years, John R. Greider, whom she married July 2, 1983; son, Shawn M. Comston, Sr. (Carole Trusler) of Newark; daughter, Chiffon D. McLaughlin (Robert Carrelli) of Newark; grandchildren, Shala, Shawn Michael, Jr., Leea, Raymond, Ethan, Kinlli and Mia; sisters, Janice (Roy) Smith, Joyce (Don) Wright and Carolyn Luckett, all of Newark, and Billie (Steve) Klusty of Hanover; brothers, William J.R. (Diane) Comston and Richard Comston (Melissa Spence), all of Newark; and nieces and newphews.The family will observe a private visitation.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home is honored to care for Vicki and her family.
