Victoria L. "Vickie" Lovell

A funeral service celebrating the life of Victoria L. “Vickie” Lovell, 66, of Newark, will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home, with Pastor Cory Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Newark Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark, on Monday, February 19th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Vickie was born in Newark, Ohio, on June 7, 1957 to the late Alvin T. and Jo-Ann (Hannum) Lovell. She passed away at Riverside Methodist Hospital on February 15, 2024. Prior to retirement, she worked in housekeeping at Licking Memorial Hospital for over 20 years. She enjoyed working in the yard, especially mowing her lawn, shopping, watching the Ohio State Buckeye football and was an animal lover. She will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her. Survivors include her brothers and sisters, Daniel L. (Macy) Lovell, Cynthia L. Lovell, Judith K. Sherman and Ronald L. (Shawna) Lovell; nieces and nephews, Robert (Barb) Lovell, Keisha Darst, Brendon (Beth) Lovell and Jennifer Lovell; great nephew and great niece, Carter Lovell and Hadlee Darst; and many friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Robert L. Sherman. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Vickie to the American Cancer Society.
