*** Mrs. Buck's funeral services have been postponed due to inclement weather. The viewing and funeral service will be held on Friday, December 28th. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until the time of Funeral Services at 12:00 Noon. ***A funeral service, to celebrate the life of Virginia C. Buck, 91, of Thornville, will be held at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, December 26, 2012, at the Thornville home of The HOSKINSON-SCHOEDINGER Funeral & Cremation Service, with Pastor Matias Garza as celebrant. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Cemetery in Columbus. Virginia died early Saturday morning, December 22, 2012, in Thornville, following an extended illness. She was born in Columbus on May 16, 1921, the daughter of the late Albert and Lena Zeallear. A Lifelong homemaker, she enjoyed cooking and baking. She is survived by her daughter Nancy Spence of Thornville, 2 grandchildren John (Patricia) Spence and Katrina Russell; 4 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters Doris (Wendell) Lantto, Annabelle Paul and Betty Williams; all of Columbus along with many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until the time of Funeral Services at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday. Memorials may be directed to the funeral home to assist with final expenses.
