Virginia R. Bailey

A funeral service celebrating the life of Virginia R. Bailey, age 66, of Heath, will be held on Monday, March 20, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home, with Pastor Rusty Foley officiating. Interment will follow at Newark Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home, 179 Granville St., Newark, one hour prior to the funeral service on Monday, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Virginia was born in Newark, Ohio on July 15, 1950 to the late George and Geraldine (Petrill) Wilson. She passed away at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus on March 17, 2017. Virginia was a devoted homemaker to her children. She enjoyed baking, reading, gardening, and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family. Survivors include her daughter, Kristi (Rick) Boley; son, Kurt (Heather) Hartness; siblings, Patricia (Jay) Wolfe, Steve (Lynn) Wilson, James Wilson, Ruth (John) Dial and Jeff (Kathy) Wilson; grandchildren, Jessica Boley, Ricky Boley and Kurtis Hartness; great grandchildren, Dominick Boley, Tyana Spears, Avery Boley and Brayden Boley; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Gary Bailey in 2012; sister, Gloria Fitzgerald; and sister-in-law, Michelle Wilson.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for Virginia and her family.
