Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. in the Sunset Cemetery, Galloway for Virginia Ann Roe, 85, of Thornville, who died late Monday afternoon, December 21, 2015, at Kobacher House in Columbus, following an extended illness. Her family was at her side.Virginia was born July 30, 1930, in Columbus, the daughter of the late Claude Swanson and Opal May (Sebring) Fuller. She was a graduate of Columbus South H.S., class of 1948, and had worked for the Buckeye Union Insurance Co in Columbus.She was an active member of Fairfield Beach United Methodist Church, Monticello Rebekkah Lodge of Millersport and Beacon Chapter #592, Order of Eastern Star of Columbus. She was also an active member of Millersport Lions Club.She is survived by her children Eric M. Roe of Thornville and Pamela M. Roe-Scott of Carrollton, GA. daughter-in-law Vickie Roe (Mrs. Stephen M.) of Scottsdale, Az., three granddaughters Tiffany (Sean) Scott-Keller, Miriam (Klint) Rivard, Mallory (Zachary) Scott-Harless; former husband George W. Roe.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Stephen M. Roe in 2008, and granddaughter Hillary Scott in 1983.The family will receive friends on Monday, December 28, 2015 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at the Thornville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, 56 S. Main St. in Thornville; where Rebekkah, Eastern Star and Lions Services will be held.The family prefers that memorials be directed to the Kobacher House in her memory. 800 McConnell Drive, Columbus, Ohio 43214.
