Vivian Arlene Crist

Funeral Services, celebrating the life of Vivian Crist, 88, of Millersport, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 13, 2024, in the Grace Lutheran Church, Thornville with pastor Tom Jacobson as celebrant. Burial will follow in Millersport Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, December 12, 2024, at the church, 65 E Columbus Street in Thornville from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Vivian passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, December 7, 2024, following a brief illness. She was born March 28, 1936, in Mount Perry, the daughter of the late Olin “Mike” and Christine (Wilkins) Mitchell. She was a graduate of Glenford High School, class of 1954, and lived most of her adult life in Millersport. She worked for many years as a secretary for Midland Insurance in Columbus.

Vivian is survived by her son Jeff, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Firl “Junior” Crist earlier this year, and her sister Marilyn King in 2005.

Memorial contributions can be directed to Grace Lutheran Church, 65 E Columbus St in Thornville. Envelopes will be available at the church.
