Vivian "Eileen" Osborn

A funeral service celebrating the life of Vivian “Eileen” Osborn, 91, of Newark, will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home, with Pastor Josh Tinkham officiating. Burial will follow in Newark Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark, one hour prior to the funeral service on Wednesday, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Eileen was born in Marne, Ohio on May 18, 1933 to the late Lawrence and Sarah (Bolen) Mason. She passed away at her residence on January 8, 2025. Prior to retirement, Eileen worked as a cashier at Sears in Heath for many years. She enjoyed sewing, traveling (visiting all 50 states, with her husband) and baking, but most important was the time she spent with her loving family, especially with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include her husband of 73 years, Harry O. Osborn, whom she married May 12, 1951; children, Harry E. (Christina) Osborn, Charles Michael (Grace) Osborn, Dennis (Deborah) Osborn, Donald “Homer” (Cynthia) Osborn, Melinda M. Long and Brian D. (Shelby) Osborn; grandchildren, Jamie (Barry), Matt, Nick, Wes (Laura), Josh (Rebecca), Rachel (Tommy), Rebecca (Josh), Dennis Jr., Daniel, Jennifer (Seth), Jeremy (Jessica), Meghan (Mark), McKinsey (Kristen) and Scott (Brittney); and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters. Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for Eileen and her family.
