A funeral service, celebrating the life of Wanda Allen, 84, of Kirkersville, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 in the chapel of the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral & Cremation Service with Pastor Jeff Smith as celebrant. Wanda will be laid to rest next to her husband James in the Kirkersville Cemetery.Wanda died peacefully on Friday, July 31, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born October 6, 1930 in Scott Depot W.V., the daughter of the late Arthur and Blanche Watson. She devoted her life to her family as a full-time Mother. She loved to collect things, including angels.She is survived by her loving family: daughters Christy Snedegar (Randy) , Carolyn Weidner (Eric), grandchildren: Jenny Snedeger (Ron), Laura (Sean) Bordenkircher, Stephanie (Jarrod) Diamond, Dianna Wells (Joe), Morgan Nieser, Christa (Zach) Riley; great-grandchildren Gage Stirling, Xavier Wells, Teagan Bordenkircher, Elaine and Olivia Wells, Logan Diamond, Connor and Clair Riley; sisters: Faye Angle, Anne Patterson, Jane (Tom) Ulery, Judy (Gregory) Owens; brothers Don (Barb) Watson, Roy Watson, and many nieces and nephews, special family friend Casey Stirling.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James, and her brother Glenn Watson.The family wants to thank the staff at Generations Hospice, and to Jeff and Corey from Licking Memorial Hospital.
