Wanda Snider

A funeral service, celebrating the life of Wanda M. Snider, 81, of Thornville will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday July 30, 2016 at The Oakthorpe Church, with burial to follow in Oakthorpe Cemetery, Thornville.Wanda died peacefully on Monday morning, July 25, 2016 at her home with her family at her side. She was born November 12, 1934 in Fairfield County, the daughter of the late Lewis and Miriam (Cox) Justice. She worked along side her husband of 61 years on the family farm and was a devoted Christian, wife, mother and grandmother, who enjoyed sewing, crocheting and gardening.She is survived by her loving family: Jane Ann Benz-Miller, Wayne (Rhonda) Snider, Susan Snider, Phillip (Cheryl) Snider and Juanita (Ron) Unkefer; 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; siblings Harold Justice, Luella Jean Donaldson, Cecil (Carolyn) Justice, Jerry Justice; 2 aunts and 1 uncle; along with many nieces and nephews and her church family at Oakthorpe Church.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Carlos Snider in 2014.Friends may call on Friday evening, from 6-8 p.m. at the Thornville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, 56 S. Main St. in Thornville; and again on Saturday morning for 1 hour prior to the funeral at Oakthorpe Church.The family prefers that memorial contributions be directed to The Oakthorpe Church.
