**Obituary for Wanda Pearl Stansberry**
*November 19, 1944 – April 7, 2025*
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wanda Pearl Stansberry, a beloved resident of Pataskala, Ohio, who peacefully departed this world on April 7, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on November 19, 1944, in McArthur, Ohio, Wanda was the cherished daughter of the late Frank and Mary Marie (Saxton) Bennington.
A proud alumna of McArthur High School's class of 1963, Wanda's early years in McArthur shaped the compassionate and nurturing spirit that defined her life. As a dedicated homemaker, Wanda poured her love and care into every aspect of her home and family.
Wanda's life was enriched by the simple joys of working puzzles and indulging in her favorite game shows like "The Price Is Right" and "Wheel of Fortune." Her love for these pastimes was infectious, bringing family and friends together for many enjoyable moments.
Wanda was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Donald Stansberry, who preceded her in death on February 23,, 2021; and her devoted parents, Frank and Mary Marie Bennington. Her enduring spirit and love live on through those she leaves behind: her sister Janet Coleman, daughter Katrina (Clark) Hutchison, and her treasured grandchildren—Natasha Hutchison, Laura (Brian) Roberts, and Matthew Hutchison. Wanda also leaves a legacy through her great-granddaughters, Allison and Cheyenne, whose lives she brightly touched.
The family extends their deepest gratitude to Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service for their compassionate care and support during this difficult time.
A celebration of Wanda's life will be held to honor her memory, where her family and friends will gather to share their dearest memories and offer farewells. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to a charity of your choice in Wanda's name, to continue her legacy of kindness and generosity.
Wanda Pearl Stansberry will be deeply missed, but her spirit and the love she shared will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. May she rest in eternal peace.
