A graveside service celebrating the life of Wayne Dee Goldsmith, age 73, of Heath, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 3, at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Wayne was born January 22, 1943 in Anderson, Indiana to the late Lowren O. and Edith E. (Taylor) Goldsmith. He passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at the Heath Nursing Care Center. Wayne was an excellent sportsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting, canoeing and archery golf. He was a member of the Wakatomika Club in Alexandria where he was the archery golf champion in 1977 and also enjoyed dancing. He is survived by two daughters, Kathryn (Dwayne) Williams of Fredericktown and Lisa (Randy) Rife of Cardington; grandchildren, Jarad Williams, Ashley Dawson, Ciara Rife and Maranda Rife; brother, Darrell Goldsmith of Dalesville, Indiana; sister, Iva (Shelva) Miracle of Johnstown; and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Goldsmith; grandson, Christopher Goldsmith; and sisters, Martha Ganoe and Irma Goldsmith.
