William Mitchell Babcock

A memorial service celebrating the life of William Mitchell Babcock, 74, of Newark, will be held on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, 179 Granville Street, Newark, with Pastor Reecior Puryear officiating. William was born in Coshocton, Ohio on December 14, 1946 to the late Jesse Edward and Amanda (Thomason) Babcock. He passed away at Arlington Care Center on July 27, 2021. Prior to retirement, he worked at Holland Electric for many years. He enjoyed sitting on his porch, listening to music and enjoyed visiting with family and friends. Survivors include a very special friend, Edwina McIntyre; siblings, John Babcock, Terry Babcock, Glen Babcock, Jim Babcock, Carolyn Holley and Toni Babcock Turner; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Robinson. Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Service is honored to care for William and his family.
