William "Bill" H. Bolen

William “Bill” H. Bolen, age 59 of Pataskala passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at Kobacker House in Columbus. Bill left this world to start his Eternal life surrounded by loving family in a room full of love. He was born October 29, 1964, in Columbus to the late Carl and Freda (Bevard) Bolen. Bill was a 1984 graduate of Liberty Union High School. He worked in construction and commercial flooring for 40 years. Bill had many hobbies, riding his side by side, taking meticulous care of his lawn, fishing, spending time with his nephews, nieces and his loving wife. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded by his brother, David Bolen; his sisters, Nancy Curnell and Pamela Sanders and a sister-in-law, Melissa Messer. Bill is survived by his devoted wife and companion of 28 years, Jennifer “Jenny” Messer Bolen; loving brother and sisters, Lowanna (Alan) Persinger, Suszanne Shook, Penny (Terry) Starkey, Michael Bolen, Kimberly (Brent) Miller; mother-in-law, Gladys Messer; father-in-law, Mike Roach; sister-in-law, Annie (Chuck Raines) Messer; brother-in-law, Charles (Jamie) Messer; many loving nieces and nephews that he loved dearly, along with his loyal dog, Razor. Visitation will be held from 1-3 and 6-8 PM Friday, July 19, 2024, at Hoskinson Funeral Home, Kirkersville where a funeral service will be held 10 AM Saturday, July 20th with a niece, Julia Messer officiating.
