William "Bill" Forest

William B. Bill Forest, 67, of Newark, passed away on October 29, 2015 at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born in Johnstown, Ohio on April 13, 1948 to the late Willard and Mary Aletha (Wheeler) Forest.Bill graduated from Newark High School, Class of 1967. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Prior to retirement, he was a technician with Boeing for over 15 years. He enjoyed mud running, hunting, watching Licking Valley football and especially enjoyed spending time with this loving family and friends. He will be missed greatly by all that knew him.Survivors include his children, Bryan Forest, Jana (TJ) McLaughlin and Jaclyn Forest; grandchildren, Trey, Aiden and Brynlee McLaughin; brother, Rick Forest; sisters, June (Floyd) Wymer, Ruby Garrabrant, Norma (John) Lowery, Wilma Renner, Wanda (John) Bosart, and Sue Stretton; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, John and Orville; and sister, Shirley.Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Bill to the charity of your choice.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for Bill and the Forest family.
