William Ray “Bill” Goodwin, 80, of Hebron, died surrounded by his loved ones Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at his home. He was born September 8, 1941, in Jere, WV to the late Earl and Gladys (Lewis) Goodwin. Bill was a Veteran of the United States Army and served during Vietnam. He worked as a self-employed painter. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching Nascar and rooting for Jimmie Johnson. He is survived by three children, Daniel (Laurie) Goodwin; Rebecca Goodwin, and Ray (Adriana) Goodwin; five grandchildren, Cayden, Carson, Carleigh, Isaac, and Gabrielle; two sisters, Jean Walters and Judy Goodwin; sister-in-law, Margaret Small; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Regina Goodwin; and siblings, Duddy, Johnny, Bobby, Abbey, Danny K, Mary Lou, Sandy, David, Dennis, Dorothy, Jo Ann, and Barb. Randy Small officiating. Burial will follow the service in Fairmount Cemetery where military honors will be presented by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.
