A funeral service celebrating the life of William S. Booth, 77, of Hebron, will be held on Monday, October 3, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Hebron chapel of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service. Military honors will be observed by the Licking County Veterans Alliance. Visitation will be held at the funeral home, 108 N. 7th Street, Hebron, two hours prior to the funeral service on Monday, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. William was born in Highland Park, Michigan on July 8, 1945 to the late William Eugene and Delores (Lindsay) Booth. He passed away at his residence on September 27, 2022. William proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Prior to retirement, he worked for JC Penney for many years. William enjoyed golfing, watching hockey, fishing, camping and was a bee keeper. Most important was the time he spent with his loving family and friends, and he will be missed by everyone that knew him. Survivors include his loving wife of 42 years, Judith A. (Elson) Booth, whom he married January 18, 1980; children, Barbara Booth, Katrina Elson and Scott (Dorothy) Booth; sisters, Dora Boggs, Lori Petito and Lynn (Darrin) Shelton; grandchildren, Jasmine (Demetrius) Clemens, Teagan Fredo, Angel Jones, Elliot Booth, Cambree Booth, Trevor Booth and Vanora Booth; great grandchildren, Christian Haughn and Carmen Clemens; and many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Brooker; and a granddaughter, Arianna Booth. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of William to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
