William Mitchell "Mitch" French

A memorial service celebrating the life of William Mitchell “Mitch” French, 48, of Johnstown, will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Gather, 12 S. Main Street, Johnstown, Ohio 43031. Mitch was born in Ashland, Kentucky on April 7, 1976 to the late William K. French and Sandra J (McKenzie) Elswick. He passed away at the James Cancer Hospital on August 3, 2024. Mitch was a shop foremen with Martin Trucking for eight years. He enjoyed working on cars, and spending time, especially laughing with family and friends. Mitch will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him. Survivors include his fiancé, Nicole “Nikki” Caudell; children, Keali French, Kinnedy Ratliff, Audra Wilson, Jayce Wilson, Rhiannon Taylor and Payton Taylor; step-father, Keith Elswick; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Ericka Porter. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mitch to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society by visiting www.lls.org.
